Leathwood Prepares for Sydney Move

FreshMinds Research MD Alistair Leathwood has confirmed he is moving to Australian market research agency Colmar Brunton as Joint Managing Director.

Leathwood joined FreshMinds five years ago as Commercial Director, from Datamonitor's Technology Practice where he was Deputy MD. In a statement issued on Tuesday, FreshMinds CEO Caroline Plumb wished Leathwood all the best in his new endeavours.

Founded in 1989, Colmar Brunton offers a wide range of research services and employs more than 150 consultants and 600 casual/part-time staff in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Perth, Adelaide and Singapore.

Commenting on his move to the Sydney office, Leathwood told DRNO: 'I've spoken to some amazing people while exploring roles in Australia, and they've all been delightful. But the team at Colmar Brunton stood out because of their passion for the industry, their commitment to quality and for their all-round positivity. I'm looking forward to working with the legendary Joan Young, alongside the wonderful Steve Nuttall, and helping the Colmar Brunton family achieve even greater things.'

Leathwood starts in the new role on 4th October.
