In the US, online community SodaHead has launched a free polling analytics tool called 'Advanced Voting Demographics', which offers results broken down by individuals' specific characteristics.
SodaHead provides a platform for the discovery, debate and discussion of current issues, hot topics and breaking news; and provides polls for ABC News, Good Morning America and Fox News. The site serves its members with more than 120,000,000 ad impressions per month.
Polls on the site are conducted across a wide range of categories such as entertainment, lifestyle, politics and celebrity gossip.
The new Advanced Voting Demographics solution is available for those polls which receive at least 25 votes, with results broken down by key demographics such as age, gender, religious view, education and income.
In addition, SodaHead provides analysis of members' political views, sexual orientation, relationship status, employment status and number of children.
