Wayin Adds Image Sharing to TwitPolls Service

June 21 2012

Online social engagement specialist Wayin has added a new photo and video sharing service to its TwitPolls tool, to enable users to share, rate and comment on images submitted via Twitter.

Tom JessimanThe TwitPolls interactive polling service allows Twitter participants to ask questions of their followers and receive tallied results in real-time.

Through the newly added TwitPolls Photoboard, photos and videos can be shared in a collage format that allows participants to comment on, share and rate in the same way they might respond to a tweet on Twitter.

The firm says that media sites could use the Photoboard as a way for viewers and readers to share images from a news event; or fans attending a sports event or music concert could post their photos for feedback.

Wayin CEO Tom Jessiman (pictured) comments: 'The technical sharing capabilities of TwitPolls Photoboard are much more than pinning photos to a board, creating an album or sending out individual images to followers. Our goal is to have a powerful product that is used by consumers, brands and companies to help them enhance audience engagement and further their status on Twitter.'
