Pinfluencer Debuts 'Pinner360' Profiler

Pinterest analytics start-up Pinfluencer has launched a new tool to provide a complete social media profile, including all activity and influence scores for each Pinterest user.

Pinner360 DashboardSilicon Valley-based Pinfluencer emerged from private beta in August, with the backing of $1.4m of seed funding. The company connects businesses to their most influential brand advocates, and its cloud-based data engine enables retailers, brands and publishers to capture data and insight generated daily by 'pins' and 'repins' posted on social media site Pinterest.

Through its new Pinner360 tool, users can track each user and advocate, including what they like, what they buy, and what they say on their social networks.

The firm says that the biggest benefit for brands is the ability to track what the 'pinners' have actually pinned from the brand's web site, which competitors they have pinned from, and which other brands they are following.

CEO Sharad Varma comments: 'With Pinner360, companies can also reach out to active pinners and offer them customized discounts on the product they have recently pinned. In addition, it is possible to build relationships with influential pinners and invite them to participate in and spread the word about contests and other perks.'
