Crimson Hexagon Adds Klout Influencer Scores

Social media analytics firm Crimson Hexagon has integrated Klout's influence scores into its ForSight platform, to help clients understand the impact key individuals are having on marketing campaigns.

Curt BloomKlout uses measures of behaviour, complex ranking algorithms and semantic analysis of content to measure the influence of individuals, analysing more than 12 million data points each day across key social media networks, as well as several off-line influence factors.

Crimson Hexagon President Curt Bloom says the addition means his company is able to deliver 'unmatched social media intelligence' to customers all over the world: 'Integrating Klout with our social media analytics platform gives customers across a variety of industry segments a well-established method for influencer scoring and the ability to better understand the impact of marketing and business programmes with key online influencers. Customers can then make meaningful decisions based on that data'.
