Revolution Analytics Opens in London

US-based research software firm Revolution Analytics has opened a London office, to be led by former Accenture exec Neil Miller.

Neil MillerThe new base at 101 Finsbury Pavement will serve as a hub for sales, business and technical services for UK and European clients of the company, which provides software and services based on the open source R project for statistical computing, and describes R as 'the most powerful statistics language in the world'.

The company has one other office outside the US, in Singapore (opened 2012).

Miller takes the title of MD, International and will oversee Revolution's business and growth outside the Americas. He spent the last fourteen years at Accenture, where he led the Customer Insight and Marketing Transformation practices in Europe, and the CRM and Analytics practices in the UK and Ireland. Prior to this, he spent thirteen years in a variety of UK and US roles at Lloyds Bank and GE Capital.

Revolution has also appointed Michele Chambers, previously GM & VP Big Data at IBM as Chief Strategy Officer & VP Product Management and co-author of the book 'Big Data Big Analytics'; and two senior execs each from Accenture and SAS.

Greg Todd, formerly an MD in the Digital Data & Analytics practice of Accenture, where he spent fifteen years, now becomes Revolution's CTO; and former Accenture global Commercial Director of Analytics Mark Bruno joins as Vice President, Business Operations.

Former SAS Global Alliance Director Greg Fuller becomes Revolution's Vice President, Partners and Channels; while its former Director of Consulting Services Neera Talbert joins as Vice President, Professional Services, leading Revolution's training and consulting teams.

John Bardong, formerly VP of North American Sales at Talend, completes the new line-up as Vice President, Sales.
