DeskAlerts Powers New Employee Survey Tool

July 24 2013

Employee communications tech firm Softomate has launched a new tool using its existing DeskAlerts platform to allow users to build employee surveys and distribute them instantly.

New format surveys grab the attention...DeskAlerts is a one-way, web-based alert notification system, through which users can send desktop alerts and news in the form of a pop-up window, to any employee within an organization. The software automatically tracks and stores alert activity and provides instant reporting on user receipt.

The new Employee Survey tool offers real-time reporting, measuring the effectiveness of the survey as soon as it has been deployed and allowing for tweaks to be made in order to optimize feedback levels.

Survey creators can chose formats for open answers, multiple answers or conditional questions, and multi-question surveys can be scheduled or sent instantly. There is also an option to set the survey to recur and to schedule the survey to be delivered at a pre-determined date and time. Reporting statistics are arranged in date order, with the survey creator able to pinpoint delivery to specific users and specific devices.

Sylvie Favero, Technology Operations Manager, comments: 'We discovered that e-mailed surveys were a source of great frustration for employers as many colleagues would simply not open the e-mail or would not see it if it was sent immediately to the junk folder. Our brand new DeskAlerts Employee Surveys product solves this problem with ease by delivering the survey right away and displaying it prominently on the user desktop rather than hidden away in an email program.'

Softomate, which is headquartered in Lynden, Washington, USA, with a development center in Russia, is online at: www.alert-software.com .
