Zoho Launches DIY Survey Tool

July 30 2013

In the US, online business document firm Zoho has launched a DIY survey tool for business users, called Zoho Survey.

Raju VegesnaCustomers use the firm's software to run their business processes and manage their information - to date, this includes more than 25 online applications, covering areas from CRM and project management to invoicing.

The new Zoho Survey tool enables users to create, publish and report on the results of online surveys, and contains campaign management tools and social media integration. Users can build their own custom surveys that include multiple question types, multiple choice, ratings and text boxes, and they can also create and publish surveys on the go using the native iPad Survey Builder.

Surveys can be previewed to see how they will display in standard web browsers and on mobile devices, although Zoho says the tool will automatically render each survey for optimal display, regardless of device. To streamline publishing, the tool then integrates with the firm's Zoho Campaigns solution, through which users can e-mail surveys to their contacts.

Raju Vegesna (pictured), Zoho 'Evangelist', comments: 'Zoho Survey rounds out our suite of business applications with a very practical, powerful tool that lets users find out what their customers are thinking and what's important to them. It is designed for use by anybody who needs input and feedback from any audience, whether inside the company or outside.'

The company, which has US offices in Pleasanton, CA and Austin, TX, as well as operations in Chennai, India; Beijing, China; and Yokohama, Japan, is online at: www.zoho.com .
