OnePoint Global Opens in Amsterdam

Mobile research technology firm OnePoint Global has opened an office in Amsterdam, where it has appointed former Ipsos EFM Head Otto Vroegop as Sales Director, Netherlands. Separately, the firm has hired past Ipsos MORI exec Ben Phillips as Sales Director, UK.

Otto Vroegop and Ben PhillipsFrom its existing locations in the UK and USA, and recently opened offices in Germany and Egypt, the company offers respondents multiple mobile options to complete surveys, including SMS, WAP/Mobile web, mobile application or voice; and says its channels work on any handset, in any country and in any language.

Vroegop joins from Ipsos, where he led the EFM (enterprise feedback management) Group, prior to which he was Client Services Manager at Synovate Netherlands, serving as the firm's primary point of contact for the automated ViewsCast VoC survey solution.

Phillips also worked for Ipsos, serving as Head of ViewsCast UK at Ipsos MORI for the past year. Earlier, he was Head of Account Management at customer intelligence firm Market Force Information, directly managing a team of up to 20 customer intelligence professionals, and he worked as Key Account Manager at mystery shopping provider Retail Eyes, prior to its acquisition by Market Force. In his new role, Phillips is based in OnePoint Global's European head office in High Wycombe.

Both will report to Rob Huijboom, Chief Commercial Officer, who comments: 'Ben and Otto's experience and expertise will be invaluable in supporting our significant growth plans, by helping existing and prospective clients in the UK and the Netherlands to realise the full potential of mobile research.'
