Shopper research specialist PRS (Perception Research Services) has opened offices in Shanghai and Chicago.
Founded in 1972, PRS specializes in research to help marketers understand shoppers and develop more effective packaging, category management and in-store marketing solutions. The firm operates from offices in Metro New York, London, Geneva, Rome, Singapore and Mexico City.
The new Shanghai office is part of a joint venture with Anovax, PRS's research partner in China, and is led by co-directors Vincenzo Ciummo of PRS and Jacky Wong of Anovax. Scott Young, President of PRS says the decision to open in China reflects his firm's commitment to partner more closely with clients across the country.
The new Chicago office is led by Mary Cooper of PRS and offers access to a five-aisle mini-store environment called the Retail Lab - a concept which the firm is planning to expand globally for both shopper research and consultation/ideation sessions with clients.
