Realeyes Deal Puts Emotion in Adknowledge Offer

September 9 2014

Digital ad specialist Adknowledge and emotion analytics firm Realeyes have agreed a global partnership, promising advertisers the chance to 'make better ads, put them in more effective places and more accurately analyse performance to improve future campaigns'.

Realeyes measures the emotions of those watching video content...Realeyes measures the emotions of those watching video content, who give the firm permission to watch them on a webcam. The platform provides insights for three stages of the video ad cycle - testing the creative, planning media spend and analysing performance. Digital marketing company Adknowledge, which already provides advanced data analysis and targeting algorithms, will now offer advertisers detailed reporting on how audiences respond emotionally to the video campaigns it delivers across social media, mobile, apps, games and sponsored content.

Adknowledge CEO Ben Legg says the deal will help brands achieve a better ROI from their digital media spend. The company recently acquired YouTube video targeting firm TriVu Media, and video distribution specialist Giant Media.

Realeyes CEO Mihkel Jäätma comments: 'Measuring emotions is another tool to give marketers more confidence to shift media spend to where consumers are spending more time - online video. Combining Adknowledge's massive scale and reach, through its recent acquisitions, with Realeyes means we're now part of the best video product offering on the market, one that will provide a huge boost to the video ad industry'.
