ISG Partners to Offer IT Performance Measures

US-based Information Services Group (ISG) has announced a partnership with cloud-based technology business management (TBM) software provider Apptio, allowing businesses rapid analysis of operational data to assess the performance of their IT functions and spend.

Apptio's TBM applications will give automatic access to ISG's benchmarking database of operational metrics, allowing organisations to analyse their operations in real-time and compare them with competitors from among 3,400 global companies in 28 industries. The partners will develop new products for TBM, collaborate on marketing, and ISG will open a practice dedicated to these joint solutions.

Todd Lavieri, President of ISG Americas, comments: 'ISG and Apptio are strategically partnering to help CIOs and IT leaders of global large and mid-size enterprises gain real-time insight into operational performance and increase the value of their IT investments'.

ISG's services include outsourcing advisory, benchmarking and analytics and public sector consulting - the three companies acquired with these specialisms were combined under the ISG brand in 2012. In August the firm - which recovered well in 2012-13 from declines early in the financial crisis, announced revenues for the second quarter of 2014 down 3% year-on-year in constant currency, at $54.9m.
