September 21 2015

Pittsburgh-based consumer insight and strategy firm Olson Zaltman has appointed Randy Adis, formerly Director of Strategy & Insights at PepsiCo, as a Director; and has formed a Board of Advisors to offer strategic counsel and help with business development.

Randy AdisAdis brings more than twenty years' experience of the research industry, and in addition to PepsiCo has worked at Unilever, Heineken, American Express and Nielsen. In his new role he will help to integrate Olson Zaltman's service offerings into clients' strategic initiatives, and to investigate new client partnerships.

Jerry Zaltman, who founded the company in 1997 with Jerry Olson, says of the appointment: 'We are extremely excited to have Randy on board. His enthusiasm is infectious and his understanding of the best approaches to tap into the consumer unconscious is unparalleled'.

The new advisory board boasts an array of senior client side experience, including Dr. Joseph Plummer, former EVP at McCann Worldgroup; Jim Figura, former VP, Global Consumer Insights for Colgate-Palmolive; Wendy Larson, former head of Client Insights & Loyalty for Charles Schwab; and John Willard, former Director of MR and Consumer Relations at Bayer Consumer Care. Olson says of the board: 'Joe, Wendy, Jim and John are all luminaries in their respective industries. We are so proud and honored to have all four of these individuals on our Board of Advisors and know that their impact on Olson Zaltman will be profound'.
