Huang Rejoins comScore to Lead Greater China Growth

comScore has appointed Xinyu Huang as SVP, Managing Director of Greater China, providing strategic leadership to strengthen the company's position in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Xinyu HuangHuang (pictured) worked for comScore between 2000 and 2012, becoming a VP in the Technology Division and then in 2010 joining the AsiaPacific team as SVP overseeing Greater China. He left to become Vice President of Data Engineering at mobile ad platform Millennial Media, then moved to analytics and media company Resonate as Chief Technology Officer, responsible for building the analytics platform and engineering team.

SVP Asia Pacific Joe Nguyen comments: 'We are delighted to re-enlist Xinyu into the Asia Pacific team as part of our strategic initiative to strengthen our position in the region...His technical experience will also be critical in the areas of new product development in local markets and developing strategic partnerships to broaden our reach'.

comScore recently announced it is to buy film and TV measurement firm Rentrak in an all stock deal valued at around $732m, creating a new giant in cross-platform measurement. The deal is expected to close in early 2016.
