Toluna Adds Twenty Percent to Headcount

Online community and survey tech provider Toluna has reported a 20 percent increase in staff numbers, supporting 'mass customer adoption of its digital research platform'.

The new recruits, spread across the company's eighteen global locations, will work in R&D, product marketing, engineering, programming and client service roles. At the same time, the company is increasing spend on respondent recruitment and panel building. Headcount is rising 'significantly' in North America, the UK and Asia Pacific, as well as in the company's offices in Haifa, Israel and Timisoara, Romania.

Buoyed by a recent investment of $10m from its holding company ITWP Acquisitions, the company just five weeks ago announced it was combining its QuickSurveys DIY survey and analytics platform with its Toluna.com online panel community, to create a service guaranteeing more than 1,000 nationally representative survey responses in 21 countries within one day.

The firm's other key products include the SampleXpress self-serve respondent sampling engine, and PanelPortal, a bespoke community platform.
