Flamingo Health Division Launched

Insight and brand strategy consultancy Flamingo has launched a new division dedicated to healthcare and pharmaceutical clients, and appointed former Hall and Partners exec Lee Gazey to lead it.

Lee GazeyFlamingo was founded in 1997 and became part of New York-based marcoms giant Omnicom a decade later. The firm has bases in Jakarta, London, Mumbai, New York, Sao Paulo, Shanghai, Singapore & Tokyo

Gazey (pictured) leaves Hall and Partners, where he was Managing Partner Healthcare, to become MD of Flamingo Health, overseeing the development of the business and team, including the translation of the parent firm's methodologies for use with pharma clients. He says of the move: 'Flamingo has an international reputation as one of the most innovative and successful brand strategy agencies and I'm excited to help launch their new Health practice'.

Flamingo co-founder and CEO Kirsty Fuller comments: 'Healthcare is a vibrant and growing category across the world. Flamingo has recently set up a specialised Digital Forensics practice and a dedicated Innovation team, and a month ago it promoted Sam Gomez to the role of London co-CEO, alongside current agency head Ednyfed Tappy, simultaneously appointing former Kantar exec Robert Nagadowski as its first Group COO.
