Kochava Rolls Out Mobile Data Marketplace

US-based mobile campaign analyst Kochava has launched a mobile data marketplace, offering advertisers a way to target and acquire users.

Charles ManningKochava offers a mobile attribution platform giving real-time visualization of campaign data from initial launch, through conversion and lifetime value reporting, including post-install event tracking. Its new 'Kochava Collective' marketplace offers tracking data for more than two billion transactions monthly, gathered from 500 million unique devices, with five million devices being added daily. The launch also offers metadata such as app affinity, view data, and install 'recency', as well as data from in-app activities such as registration, purchase, completion, and add-to-cart events.

CEO Charles Manning (pictured) says existing solutions require advertisers to expose their high-intent users in order to target like users, inadvertently helping competitors with the targeting of these same devices. By contrast, the new platform means 'Media partners never have to worry that an advertiser will find a cohort and then directly target them on a competitive network. The system acts as a matchmaker'.
