Marcoms group Dentsu Aegis has acquired Geneva, Switzerland-based digital agency blue-infinity, which offers a range of integrated marketing, CRM, commerce, retail, tracking, and analytics services. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 2001 by Christophe Martin and Pierre Aebischer, blue-infinity has a team of more than 500 digital experts who provide clients in the retail, banking, pharmaceutical and non-governmental sectors with a combination of creative and technical skills. In addition to Switzerland, the firm currently has offices in the Czech Republic and Portugal.
Following its acquisition, blue-infinity will join Dentsu Aegis Network's global digital marketing agency Isobar, and be known as 'blue-infinity - Linked By Isobar'. The blue-infinity management team will remain unchanged, with Martin and Aebischer leading the business and reporting directly to Lars Bo Jeppesen, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Nordics, Central & Eastern Europe.
In a statement, Martin and Aebischer said: 'We are now part of a network of 35,000 experts across 145 countries with whom we share a common vision and values. We will now be able to serve clients even better, through a more holistic and wider range of know-how, as well as on a global scale, to provide unrivalled expertise for our clients on their journey of digital transformation'.
