Firms Link to Reach 'Highly Interested' Consumers

Data and marketing services firm Acxiom has partnered with social media data platform ShareThis to enable brands to better target 'highly interested' consumers at the right time and through the right channel.

Kurt AbrahamsonShareThis builds real-time audiences using proprietary interest and intent data collected across a global network of more than three million global publisher domains. The new Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) collaboration taps Acxiom's publisher, adtech, agency and marketer relationships, and provides access to ShareThis' global real-time digital data set for improved targeting and analytics. Through the service, brands and publishers can convert and scale online interests to modeled off#line consumer marketing behavior, via Acxiom's Audience Cloud.

ShareThis CEO Kurt Abrahamson (pictured) says clients will now be able to 'tap insights gleaned from consumers' online searches, page views, clicks and shares to model and scale programs for a larger offline audience'.
