Affle Acquires Re-Targeting Platform RevX

June 27 2019

Singapore-based consumer intelligence technology specialist Affle has acquired US mobile marketing and re-targeting platform RevX. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Anuj Khanna SohumRevX offers a fully self-serve programmatic and personalization platform through which marketers can retarget users with dynamic ads, acquire new users and drive brand awareness through native content ads. The firm promises data-driven one-to-one marketing at global scale through audience intelligence and programmatic reach.

Affle says the buy will strengthen its own 'Consumer Platform', which comprises a proprietary intelligence solution for consumer acquisitions, engagements and transactions through relevant mobile advertising; a retargeting media business for eCommerce companies; and an SaaS push notifications service. The company has also recently acquired ad targeting and retargeting specialist Vizury; Shoffr, which converts online consumer engagement into in-store footfall and transactions; and eCommerce business Markt.

Anuj Khanna Sohum (pictured), Chairman, MD and CEO of Affle, comments: 'We are confident that when we layer our audience intelligence and ad fraud filters on the RevX platform, we will be able to boost the ROI of the platform significantly. Also, we are very excited by the self-serve features of the RevX platform and believe that this could help us drive the adoption of programmatic advertising amongst fast-growing industry segments. This acquisition would complete our CPCU (cost per converted user)-based offering by adding newer functionalities and machine learning-driven algorithms'.
