Streamhub and Video Research Debut Catchup Analytics

London-based video analytics specialist Streamhub has partnered with audience researcher Video Research to launch a data management platform (DMP) called 'catchup analytics', for broadcasters and agencies in Japan.

Akihiro TsuchiyaStreamhub offers services for cross-industry measurement and data activation using its analytics and DMP platforms. Through the partnership, the firms have developed a data model that enables the creation of compliant data needed for transactions at scale. Yoshihide Ikeda, Director, Project Development Division at Video Research, says that it is 'exciting' to work with advanced technology that simplifies the processing of billions of data points.

Commenting on the deal, Streamhub CEO Akihiro Tsuchiya adds: 'This forms the basis of both a collaborative and competitive marketplace where there is shared access to basic 'collective data' for planning at scale, whilst the broadcasters can view a variety of 'individual' BI data whether it's AVoD, Live, SVoD or QoS. It sets up the foundation for a transparent and scalable ecosystem to generate new opportunities through advanced use of data.'
