Call Center Analytics Firm Invoca Wins $56m in Funds

October 18 2019

In Santa Barbara, CA, AI-powered call tracking and conversational analytics firm Invoca has announced $56m in new capital, for use in speeding up product development and broadening its partner 'ecosystem'.

Gregg JohnsonThe round, led by existing investor Upfront Ventures and new investor H.I.G. Growth Partners, brings the company's total financing to date to $116m. The firm reports 75% year-over-year bookings growth in the first half of 2019, and says it plans to double headcount over the next three years.
Invoca claims to bring the level of marketing analytics normally associated with digital consumer interactions to the off-line world of human-to-human selling - providing real-time stats to maximise media spend ROI and improve customer experience. It recently released a machine learning-based contact center conversation analytics tool called Signal Discovery.

CEO Gregg Johnson says of the news: 'With digital advertising spend expected to near $400bn next year, marketers are investing heavily in Google and Facebook to drive awareness and customer acquisition. Yet over 90% of commerce still happens offline via contact centers and retail stores, especially in industries with more complex, expensive products. Brands are struggling to connect digital advertising investments to the human conversations that drive sales. Invoca addresses this gap'.

The company is online at www.invoca.com .
