In the US, product usage analytics specialist Revulytics has been acquired by computer software company Flexera. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.Waltham, Massachusetts-based Revulytics offers cloud-based software usage analytics to help software developers understand how their products are being used, providing them with intelligence to generate revenue, optimize product development, and make data-driven decisions across their business. The firm's software usage analytics solution also provides insight into product adoption and engagement, enabling product managers and developers to deliver contextually relevant messages.
With the acquisition of Revulytics, Flexera says it will continue to expand its software monetization platform by giving organizations more insight into the actual use of their products.
