Vionlabs Debuts Emotional Fingerprint API

Sweden, Stockholm-based video discovery platform Vionlabs has launched a cloud-based solution called Emotional Fingerprint API, in a bid to help media companies make better decisions based on artificial intelligence-generated video data and insights.

Marcus BergstromThe firm uses computer vision and machine learning to generate sentiment-data, and based on this, Vionlabs' recommendation engine creates a unique personal viewer experience.

Its new Emotional Fingerprint API has been developed to measure thousands of factors during the screening of a video, including colours, pace, audio, and object recognition, in order to produce an AI-derived fingerprint, frame by frame, that represents the emotional structure of content.
