Faster Horses Expands in Melbourne and Brisbane

Australian insights specialist Faster Horses Consulting has hired Mark Hutchinson to set up an office in Melbourne, and Chris Pyria to establish a presence in Brisbane. Paul Croci also joins the firm in Perth and Ann-Louise Brockelsby in Sydney.

Hutchinson joins after a decade at Ipsos Australia, latterly as Service Line Lead, Creative Excellence, before which he was a Director of Ipsos ASI Australia, and ASI Director at Ipsos Indonesia. For the previous decade, he worked for TNS in Shanghai, London and Melbourne. Pyria will set up in Brisbane after a career which has included senior agency-side positions at Kantar, Colmar Brunton, AMR and Roy Morgan Research, and client-side roles at Pacific Brands and Telstra.

Croci joins as a Director in Perth, following a career which has included insights roles at personal care product manufacturer Beiersdorf, latterly as Regional Consumer Insights Manager - Far East, ANZ. Earlier, he held senior research roles at Bauer Media Group and Roy Morgan Research. Brockelsby joins as an Account Director in Sydney, after director-level roles at Colmar Brunton, Newspoll, Millward Brown and Nielsen.

Commenting on the appointments, Mayne said: 'We are very pleased to announce that we're bucking the downsizing trend and have added four new senior researchers to the team. We're very excited about this next stage of our growth'.
