US-based behavioral insights consultancy Behaviorally has expanded its APAC presence to Australia, where it has appointed Liam Gilbert as Vice President to lead its efforts in the country.
Behaviorally combines its own behavioural framework with category expertise to examine the drivers of consumer activity and shopper growth. The firm's first Australian office is in Melbourne, and adds to existing APAC offices in Singapore and Shanghai. Behaviorally is also planning to open additional offices across the APAC region - including in Thailand and the Philippines.
Gilbert (pictured) joins with more than thirteen years' experience delivering retail and shopper strategy, specifically serving clients in the FMCG/CPG sectors across APAC and Europe. Most recently, he was the APAC Shopper Lead for NielsenIQ in Melbourne, before which, he held leadership roles at Focus Insights, and spent more than a decade at IGD (the Institute of Grocery Distribution), where he latterly served as Head of Global Customer Development.
Commenting on the appointment, Group President, Crispin Beale, said: 'Asia tends to lead the world in shopper innovations and Liam's expertise in retail and shopper marketing makes him the ideal addition to the team to grow our presence and implement our vision in this region. Having personally worked in both Melbourne and Sydney in the past, I am delighted to be back in Australia with a compelling offer to deliver both our existing and new clients' commercial success.'
