SnackMagic Launches Consumer Insights Tool CPGpulse

April 21 2022

In New York, personalized snack box provider SnackMagic has launched a data platform called CPGpulse, to provide consumer insights for CPG brands.

Shaunak AminSnackMagic is a global platform for sending gifts to remote employees, global teams, clients, sales prospects, hybrid events and event attendees. The firm says its new CPGpulse solution goes beyond point-of-sale data with analytics that reflect direct consumer insights such as taste preferences, along with tools to help brands assess their competitors. Core data is derived from SnackMagic's real-time eCommerce and consumer sampling activity, with data largely collected from pre-launched SKUs sampled on the platform.

Brands can subscribe to the dashboard, which includes trends and rankings across categories, brands, products, ingredients, dietary preferences, seasonal shifts and taste profiles. In addition, the solution can be used to help monitor brand and product performance, with audience demographics, reviews and feedback for brands and competitors. Dashboards can be personalized, and brands can tap into analysis - from simple push reporting e-mails to access to data scientists for deeper recommendations.

Founder and CEO Shaunak Amin (pictured) comments: 'There is no platform collecting the unique data points that CPGpulse does: first-party data, qualitative data, sales data that comes from gift redemption, and data on an emerging brand universe. Brands on SnackMagic have the exposure and distribution, now it's time to give them behind-the-scenes insights to supercharge their growth efforts'.
