January 30 2023

In Sydney, online sample marketplace PureSpectrum has appointed online research veteran Chris Mawn as ANZ Director of Clients.

Chris MawnLaunched in 2016 by former Cint US MD Michael McCrary, PureSpectrum provides a marketplace for buyers and sellers of online sample, as part of a complete end-to-end research platform. Mawn (pictured) brings more than 30 years of MR experience to the role, the last twenty spent in Australia where he co-founded full service market and social research company yellowSquares. During his career he has built and maintained key niche online survey panels and served as a spokesperson in various industry association roles. He is also the co-founder of 'blue-collar bloke' panel BLOKEVOTE and another research panel firm, Survey Village.

PureSpectrum Vice President ANZ Anthony O'Brien describes Mawn as 'a respected thought leader to the research industry', adding: 'We are ecstatic about Chris joining and I've no doubt he will excel in his role and use his impeccable knowledge, proven experience and client network to fast track further growth and strengthen client relations in ANZ'.

MD APAC James Rogers comments: 'Chris was one of the first to truly challenge the status quo in the Market Research industry and that is one of the clear traits that we look for at PureSpectrum... His knowledge and experience will provide the Australia and New Zealand region a new dimension and perspective, adding to what is already a very successful offering to well over 100 customers using our technology and services'.
