Sprout Social Adds AI Features

In the US, social media engagement and analytics specialist Sprout Social is launching a series of artificial intelligence features, combining its proprietary machine learning (ML) and automation capabilities with OpenAI's GPT model.

Justyn HowardThe firm offers social media listening, analytics and management, customer care and advocacy solutions, allowing clients to extend their reach and create connections with their consumers. In January, it acquired Repustate, which reads and analyzes text and video content natively, transforming data into business intelligence through natural language processing, artificial intelligence and machine learning.

The new features add AI to Sprout's platform and integrate Repustate's core machine learning. These features will soon include 'Smart Query Suggestions', enhancing the firm's Listening solution with GPT-powered query keyword recommendations. Soon to be launched OpenAI and Repustate-based capabilities have been designed to minimize manual care tasks, provide targeted copy suggestions, and unlock nuanced understanding of social media conversation.
