Experian Names MD for UK Business Info Division

Experian has appointed Kirk Fletcher as Managing Director of its Business Information division in the UK and Ireland, charged with further developing the division's business data and analytics portfolio.

Prior to his appointment, Fletcher was MD of Experian's Automotive division in the UK and Ireland. In his new role he will continue to lead this business, which sits within the company's Business Information division.

He reports to Phil Cotter, MD of Experian's Credit Services division, who comments: 'Kirk is already a valuable member of our senior management team and is the natural choice to accelerate the Business Information division's continued growth.'

In the UK and Ireland, Experian employs more than 4,000 people in over 30 offices, and has sales of £480m. Globally, last November the firm posted a pre-tax profit of $318m for the first half of the year; up from $270m for the same period in 2007.
