Allegiance Buys DIY Survey Tool Firm, Inquisite

US voice-of-the-customer (VOC) solutions firm Allegiance has acquired online survey software firm Inquisite. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Adam EdmundsHeadquartered in Austin, Texas, Inquisite offers a self-administered survey solution, designed for gathering and understanding the opinions and insights of customers, partners and employees. Last autumn, the firm introduced the latest version of its Enterprise Feedback Management (EFM) software, featuring a new interactive analytics engine and report builder to provide feedback on customer and employee opinions and motivations.

Allegiance is the developer of the Engage Software platform, which gathers responses and unsolicited comments in real-time into a centralized online system, to help measure customer and employee engagement.

'These, combined with Allegiance's centralized listening platform and analytics tools, provide unprecedented options for today's smartest businesses to assess, monitor and respond to customer needs.'
