Vermont Office for Growing Pollster

US researcher and political pollster Pursuant Research has opened its first regional office in Randolph, VT, to be headed by company President, Melissa Marcello.

Pursuant says the Vermont office will allow it to expand its brand footprint, and better serve New England companies, non-profits, and governmental entities. It has also moved its Washington, D.C. headquarters to a new address on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Marcello has over 15 years of experience in providing data-driven strategy. She founded Pursuant Research over 7 years ago in Washington, where she also served as an adjunct faculty member in the graduate program of Communication, Culture and Technology at Georgetown University.

Marcello says of the new location: 'Randolph's central location and proximity to the interstate and state capital made it an ideal location for us. The independent, entrepreneurial nature of Vermonters will inspire us as we continue to expand both geographically and in capabilities.'

Teresa Murphy, Vice President of Vermont-based Pursuant client Fletcher Allen Healthcare comments: 'It's nice to know that Pursuant will be in our back yard, and I would expect that the company will thrive here in Vermont.'
