More Virtual Incentives for Peanut Labs

August 7 2009

Online sample company Peanut Labs has announced a partnership with online games firm Frogster America, by which players of the latter's 'Runes of Magic' game can earn virtual currency by completing surveys.

Peanut Labs struck a similar deal with Acclaim Games last year.

Runes, a Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG), offers power-ups and premium site features in exchange for its own currency - which players will now be able to earn if they spend five to ten minutes completing an anonymous survey.

Founded in December 2008, Frogster America says its new partner's monetization engine 'acts as an extension of the social media or game experience', providing 'revenue superior to traditional display advertising and higher overall engagement'. President and CEO Lars Koschin comments: 'Peanut Labs is a perfect fit for Frogster America as we look to keep the game free-to-play for our players.' Murtaza Hussain, President of Peanut Labs, says Frogster's 'emphasis on AAA-quality titles and the user experience' makes them 'an ideal fit for research surveys and managed advertising'.

Located in San Francisco, Frogster America, Inc., is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Frogster Interactive Pictures AG, a Berlin based listed publisher of online computer games.
