Synovate Adds Trend-Spotting to Community Panels

Synovate has updated its online community panels; integrating qual and quant research with a number of applications to help clients spot trends and obtain feedback about product ideas.

Maz AmirahmadiThe new Synovate Community Panels are customised to allow clients to interact with a dedicated group of their customers and prospects, and learn from them over time through multimedia surveys and discussion forums.

Panel participants are fully networked so they can initiate conversations themselves, rather than having to wait for brands to contact them.

The firm has also created nine applications to provide clients with feedback from consumer research on their promotions, product concepts and packaging.

One of these is the PulsePoll application, which gauges consumer sentiment within 24 hours and enables clients to dig further with panellists to generate ideas. It is also able to integrate data from existing customer databases into the panel to help clients learn more about their customers over time.
