Wordze Acquired by Tracking Firm

In the US, keyword research tools provider Wordze has been acquired by Internet tracking firm Simpio Marketing for an undisclosed sum.

Wordze Acquired by Tracking FirmWordze offers keyword research and mining, automated keyword list creation, competition analysis, historical keyword and web site trend data, and patent-pending word ranking technology.

It has developed a series of tools including Meta Search which combines keyword research using meta search data with Google data; WordRank which uses growth data and other metrics to help profile the competition; AdWords Spy which tracks competitor advertising by domain or keyword; and Search Trends which offers access to a year's worth of traffic on any keyword.

Simpio Marketing CEO Bradley Markham, one of Google's original Adwords Optimization Specialists, says: 'We are very pleased to add the Wordze.com service to our growing portfolio of web properties. I can unequivocally say that there is no better tool for Internet marketing research.'

Markham will act as Chief Operating Officer of Wordze.
