BlueKai Adds to Audience Analysis Offer

December 7 2009

Intent-focused online data specialist BlueKai has announced the launch of In-Market Reports, a new analytics service giving insights into the in-market shopping profiles of site audiences.

The service promises to accelerate the ability of marketers to verify or discover likely prospects based on the shopping patterns of their site visitors, delivering recommended data segments for targeting via current online media partners such as ad networks, ad exchanges, portals and publishers.

CEO Omar Tawakol comments: 'Advertisers need to know more about their site audience and what they are shopping for. The BlueKai In-Market Report is the first of its kind to provide knowledge into actual shopping patterns vs. audience surveying... With BlueKai's industry-leading panel of 160 million true intenders based on over 10,000 behavioral attributes, we're offering a shopper profiling service that is unmatched in the market today.'

The firm says the new service also holds out the possibility of discovering new and unexpected targets: for example, an online luxury women's shopping site may find that their visitors are twenty times more likely than the general internet audience to be in the market for branded women's accessories - which is intuitive - but may also discover that they are ten times more likely to be in the market for Paris travel, pointing up the opportunity for a promotion on the site.

BlueKai gives a high profile to consumer transparency and privacy: its online Registry enables consumers to see what marketers know about them, edit their online preferences and gain rewards in charitable donations.

Privately-held BlueKai is based in Bellevue, WA and its home page is at www.bluekai.com .
