B2B Ad Targeting Firm Reports 600% Growth

US B2B audience targeting specialist Bizo has reported a record fourth quarter, with revenue of more than $5m representing a 600% year-over-year growth.

Russell GlassSan Francisco-based Bizo has developed the Bizographic Targeting Platform, which enables marketers to reach the right online business audience by targeting their campaigns based on prospects' demographics ('bizographics') - including industry, functional area, seniority, size of company, education, gender, location and more.

The firm says understanding of these attributes and behaviors enables it to anonymously deliver 'powerful' ad targeting.

During the quarter, Bizo completed a $6m round of equity financing, and increased its customer base by more than 300% versus the fourth quarter of 2008.

In addition, it ended 2009 by signing partnership agreements with UK-based The Digital Partnership and interCLICK, to make its data accessible in international markets as well as to thousands of business, news and technology sites.
