Polk Motors Across Town

Auto research specialist RL Polk & Co has announced plans to move its corporate headquarters across town in Southfield, Michigan, bringing all its employees in the area into the one location.

Polk will occupy nearly five floors of the Travelers Tower II building at 26533 Evergreen Road - more than 138,000 square feet of commercial space.

The new facility is less than two miles from the firm's current First Center Building site in Southfield and will, it says, provide a central and convenient location combining easier access to major OEM customers in southeastern Michigan, with facilities for efficient implementation of new product development initiatives.

CEO Stephen Polk states that the new building provides 'a more collaborative working environment for the team', while continuing to produce and provide outstanding support and solutions for customers, and making cost savings through an efficient re-design of space.

Polk expects employees to begin relocating from the fall of this year. The privately held global firm has operations in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Spain, the UK and US, and is online at www.polk.com .
