OTO Acquires Customer Experience Consultancy, fhios

US digital marketing agency One to One Interactive (OTO) has acquired UK customer experience research consultancy fhios, which it will roll into its neuromarketing research unit OTOinsights. Terms were not disclosed.

Ian Karnell and Dr Philip RhodesThe merger will incorporate fhios' user experience, research and design practice with OTOinsights and its patent-pending neuromarketing research lab Quantemo.

Quantemo offers a scientific approach to measuring a target audience's emotional reactions to digital media, including web sites, online advertising, streaming video, virtual worlds etc.

London-based fhios specializes in customer experience strategy, research and design; covering areas such as usability, eye tracking, concept testing, brand perception and competitive benchmarking. The firm works across both the public and private sectors in industries ranging from financial services to travel in both B2B and B2C markets.

'This acquisition will help us achieve several of our 2010 strategic objectives,' stated OTO CEO, Ian Karnell. 'fhios' substantial international presence gives OTO access to new markets for all of its products and services.'

As part of the transaction, fhios CEO Dr Philip Rhodes becomes SVP, Managing Director of OTOinsights.
