Munro Companies Pool Analytics Talent

Marketing services group Munro Global, the UK-based parent of five research firms, is launching an analytical division. Munro Analytics brings together people from across the group to provide 'plain talking, advanced analysis'.

Charlotte CornishA wide range of analytical techniques will be offered, from more standard research industry outputs to advanced techniques involving complex data transformation and/or data fusion.

Munro COO Charlotte Cornish says the firm has identified a gap in the market: 'we know that there are many people who are swimming in data and need help to identify how they can turn this into something meaningful for their organisation. This might be to build a balanced scorecard, report on KPIs, identify gaps in their service delivery and so on. Munro Analytics will meet that need.'

Munro was formed in June 2006 and includes research firms FDS International, Maven Research, M-Lab, 3000ft Strategic Insight and acefieldwork. It also has its own operational division, Munro Operations. Group turnover is forecast to exceed £10 million in 2010.
