Infogroup Rolls Out Social Media Package

Data giant Infogroup has launched a suite of products for social media listening and monitoring; it will also offer consulting and campaign management for social media, and development of iPhone apps and widgets.

Ann KennedySubsidiary Opinion Research Corporation (ORC) recently teamed up with social media software specialist Mzinga to launch a service offering online market research communities for customer and employee research.

In its latest move, parent firm Infogroup will also offer single and multipage customized site development including microsites and landing pages. In addition, the firm will use a new tool called SMASH to aggregate all related media and user-generated content from blogs, Flickr, Twitter and other social networking sites in real-time, to one online location.

'We're taking our experience in marketing data intelligence, combined with our vast amount of data, and then overlaying it with new social intelligence to create a breakthrough way to analyze and market to both new and traditional audiences,' stated Ann Kennedy, SVP of Product and Data Innovation. 'The real value in all of this comes from an integrated solution that gives marketers actionable insight.'
