LGBT Study Rolled Out in US and Canada

LGBT specialist Out Now has rolled out its new global study across the US and Canadian markets.

Ian JohnsonThe '2010 Out Now Global LGBT Market Study' - billed as the 'world's largest market research study into the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) consumers' - officially launched in February across 14 countries in Latin America and Europe.

To extend the reach of the study to the US and Canada, Out Now has selected US-based media services firm Gay Ad Network as its exclusive partner.

With the addition of these new regions, the firms claim the research will now sample across a population with 1.1 billion people, including an estimated 52 million LGBT consumers.

'We were often being asked why the study did not include North America,' says Out Now founder and CEO, Ian Johnson. 'As a result of our partnership with Gay Ad Network, we will now have access to over 6 million gay and lesbian consumers across 250 online media properties.'

Reports from the study will be released later this year.
