Citrus Enhances Analysis Tool

In the UK, software firm Citrus Technology has updated its Citrus Replay data analysis tool to build and maintain a historical record of data changes and results.

Founded in 2006, Manchester-based Citrus develops data analysis tools for a variety of data sources. Specifically, Citrus Replay enables users to create a library of segments, which can be re-used across different databases. In addition, the tool allows users to score datasets and explore, analyse, define and reuse business rules with automatic exception handling.

For instance, using the solution, the firm says it is possible to find outliers and exceptions by charting any result set, drilling-down into the underlying data and exporting suspect rows.

'This tool brings data quality and data analysis within the reach of every business,' states Director David Ross. 'The recorded histories, coupled with built-in data comparison and graphing tools, mean Citrus Replay provides a new perspective; users are able to understand how their data changes over time and look for developing trends.'
