Datascension Co-founder Opens New Firm

Joey Harmon, the former COO and one of the founders of Datascension, has set up a new data collection firm called Harmon Research Group.

The firm, which has offices in San Jose, Costa Rica and Anaheim, California, will focus on Internet and telephone data collection. Datascension also operates in Costa Rica and the western US.

Additional Hispanic and Latin American B2B and B2C services include panel design and purchasing, tracking research, project management and real-time reporting.

Harmon has more than 18 years' industry experience and this will be the third data collection start-up firm he has been involved with.

Prior to forming his new agency, Harmon co-founded data collection and outsourcing specialist Datascension in 2000. Earlier in his career, he was Call Center Manager at The Pok Company, Manager at Diagnostic Research (DR Added Value), and Operations Manager at The Verity Group.
