AOL Promotes for Key Research Role

AOL has made three key marketing appointments, including the promotion of Scott Joslin to Director of Research and Business Intelligence, based in London.

Joslin joined the company in 2006 and worked as Director of Marketing, Metrics and Analysis for AOL in Canada before becoming Director of International Business Intelligence for AOL Time Warner.

Meanwhile Scott Williams joins the London team as Head of Creative Solutions and Fraser Rattray as Trade and Product Marketing Manager. Williams was previously Creative & Digital Director at Shine Communications, while Rattray worked in trade marketing at Yahoo! and MySpace.

Joslin and Williams will report to David Shing, Head of Media and Marketing, AOL Europe, while Rattray reports to Director of Marketing Eugenia Makhlin.

Shing says the appointments come at an important time for AOL in the UK as it focuses on greatly improving the consumer experience.
