OnePoint Adds Voice Messaging Feature

June 28 2010

UK-based mobile research technology firm OnePoint Surveys has introduced a voice messaging option.

With respondents' permission, the OnePoint platform can now automatically call them to get their verbal feedback in the form of a voice message, allowing a more detailed description and the benefit for researchers of hearing the 'emotion being felt at that time', the company says.

One point's technology allows the creation of mobile surveys which support multimedia content, as well as the recruitment and profiling of mobile communities and panels. The solution already allows the sending of pictures, videos or open text comments, and with the new option will give a rich variety of 'in-the-moment insight' according to OnePoint.

All responses, including voice messages and multimedia, are accessible instantly in one central area via the company's secure web portal.

In March this yearm the firm, which saw a 280% increase in revenue last year, opened its first international office in Madison Avenue, New York. It plans to open two more international offices during the year.
