July 16 2010

Infegy - the developer of social web analytics platform Social Radar - has opened a European sales and support office in Birmingham, UK, and appoined Gray Dudek as European Managing Director.

Gray Dudek and Nigel BromleyKansas City-based Infegy launched its Social Radar tool in 2007. The system uses a proprietary web crawler to collect all forms of social content from social networks, blogs, forums, news outlets and micro blogs.

Using natural language processing, the system enables the user to search for sentiment within the content of a post, to track a product launch, measure the response of an ad campaign, listen to the thoughts of consumers, and manage a brand's reputation.

Dudek joined the firm last November, with more than 10 years' digital marketing and research experience gained working as UK CRM Manager for Mars, Head of Marketing at Capita Business Services and Digital Director at marcoms agency RBH (Rees Bradley Hepburn).

He is joined in the UK by former colleague Nigel Bromley, who becomes European Sales & Marketing Director. For the past 14 years, Bromley has served as Managing Partner at RBH, prior to which he worked as Product Manager at McKechnie Group and as a Product/Sales Manager at Hanson UK.

'Infegy has had many successful implementations of Social Radar, and the market in Europe is growing and vibrant,' explains President Adam Coomes. 'Having highly experienced professionals like Gray and Nigel to represent Social Radar in Europe will also greatly strengthen our ability to address the growing demands of this market.'
