Tpoll Debuts Online Qual Tool

UK-based online MR firm Tpoll has launched a new qualitative software tool called Tqual, developed in-house. The tool can be integrated with the company's existing survey and community platform Tquant, or used as a standalone.

Tqual connects moderators and respondents with integrated multi-media and video upload features, in online discussion groups of up to twenty, and is described as particularly suitable for sensitive subjects as it allows respondents time to consider their answers. Responses are reported as a traditional transcript or as tag or word cloud, allowing easier probing.

CEO Mark Ursell says the integration feature means clients can combine qualitative and quantitative research on one platform, and describes Tqual as 'an affordable tool for our clients without any hidden surprises.' Ursell says the scalable, customisable solution 'will allow a company to be exceptionally responsive to the needs of its customers and potential customers.'
