New App Aggregates Midterm Polls and News

In the US, ahead of the November midterm elections, mobile app developer Handmark has launched ElectionCaster, an app that delivers instant access to the latest political news and polling information.

Features of the new app include national coverage from the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, RealClearPolitics, Politico and other national and local news sites and blogs.

In addition, the app offers details about the most up-to-date polls on the election races, public opinion, and other relevant issues.

'With ElectionCaster, users can now enjoy instant access to the latest from top sources without having to check dozens of different places for political news to assist them with their voting decisions this November and beyond,' states Handmark EVP of Marketing, Evan Conway.

The free, ad-supported app is currently available for download for Android-based devices, and the firm is planning to roll it out across other platforms in the coming weeks.
