Ugam Partners for Physician Panel Offering

MR outsourcing firm Ugam Research Solutions has partnered with medical information provider Physicians Interactive Holdings (PIH), combining its own data collection services with PIH's panel of 170,000 US physicians.

PIH provides an online and mobile resource for healthcare information, medication samples and mobile tools. Around 1.5 million physicians and sector professionals currently use PIH's service for drug sampling programs, education programs and clinical references.

The PIH verified US panel for market research comprises AMA verified physicians working across 34 medical specialisms including oncology, cardiology, internal medicine, family practice and other areas.

'PIH has developed unique insight and understanding of recruitment, target marketing, segmentation, and ways to engage healthcare professionals with digital and mobile programming and we are keen to leverage this effectively for market research purposes,' states Ugam CEO Sunil Mirani.
